  • I don’t have any yoga or hiking experience, can i still sign up?

    Yes! Having past yoga and/or hiking experience is not required.

  • What should I wear?

    Comfortable, breathable clothing. I also recommend dressing in layers and bringing a 2nd pair of shoes/sandals to change into for the ride home!

  • How long is the hike?

    Each hike will vary based on mileage, but I’d say it’s safe to allot 3-4 hours from arrival to the park and ending lunch.

  • Can I bring my dog?

    Ugh this was a tough one, but sadly no doggies allowed

  • Do I need hiking boots?

    Hiking boots are not required but could be helpful! I also find sneakers with good traction to work just fine!

  • Do I need to bring a yoga mat?

    Yoga mat will be provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own.

  • Do you host private hikes?

    Yes! We’re available to host private hikes for bachelor/ette parties, birthday outings, corporate retreats etc. Curated especially for your group. Email sunshinehikes@gmail.com for more info!

  • What’s included in the excursion?

    -30 min yoga class

    -Informative Guided hike

    -Hiking snacks

    -10-15 min yoga cool down post-hike

    -Nourishing lunch & bevies!

  • What about ticks?!?

  • What if the weather is bad?

    We’ll make the call regarding weather 24 hours prior to the hike.

  • What's your cancellation policy?

    Cancellations are currently viewed on a case-by-case basis. Please email sunshinehikes@gmail.com with any specific questions.

  • Why is it called “Sunshine Hikes”

    We’re the happiest when the sun is shining :) Doesn’t the sunshine make everyone happy??
